Thinking of scrapbooking little Calliope Jane

Love the easy SCRAPBOOKING I can do with "Studio J"

The lovely couple above had their first child "Calliope Jane" November 10th. Calli is such a sweet blessing for them to have as they celebrate their 7th anniversary next month.

Here she is at 9 days old:

This hat was made 28 years ago.

Calli was born 3 hours before Remembrance Day - here's a layout of some poppies that survived a huge hail storm in my backyard. Calli my prayer for you is that you weather life's storms as well as these poppies, relying on God in everything you do.

Baby Shower Blessings

My husband and I are going to be grandparents for the first time in a few weeks, we are so excited.

At the Baby Shower last week we had a blessing tree for the new family. I cut a bunch of tags with my Cricut for guests to fill out with words of wisdom for the new family. Kimberley, James and baby were blessed with song, bible verses, prayers and words of encouragement on the assortment of tags. I used my Art Philosophy and Artiste Cricut cartridges from Close To My Heart.

Beautiful Blessing

The baby shower was gluten free with beet juice coloured veggie dip, pink cranberry chicken salad baguettes, smoked salmon baguettes, shrimp, strawberries, watermelon, raspberries, sugar cookies and cupcakes. Here are the last of the photos from the shower:

Inking summer travels

Beautiful summer travels

I have had several busy weeks with family travels and visits. Rejoicing in the many mountains, rivers, waterfalls, forests and family visited.

These digital scrapbook layouts were made with Close To My Heart's on line "Studio J" program. The program is free to use and has no cost unless you wish to order JPEGs or printed 12x12 copies. I love the Studio J Express Kits for quick layouts in minutes. These two pages were made with an Avonlea Kit and Backstage pattern and have many layers to the layout. I love that I can use the Close To My Heart papers and change the colours of the Background and Textured papers to any colour of my choice.


Cruisin' Paper Collection - switched to soft green from primary colours and black. . Below you can see a bit more detail. I labelled some lakes using text boxes with no paper colour background in the text box.

Dakota Paper Collection - switched to green tones from blue and red. Below you can see more detail and text boxes used again for labelling locations in the panoramas of Jasper National Park.
